This is from a location on the mainland at Mulkiteo, Washington looking west with the south tip of Camano Island coming in view from the right and Hat Island just below the setting sun. Whidbey Island is at the horizon. Today there is a parking lot where the old boat is and the ferry that runs to Whidbey Island now docks just out of sight to the right of this lighthouse.
