	Lingering Dusk 16 x 20" or 20 x 24" (Please see pricing schedule) Thomas Kinkade discovered some favorite subjects early on in his career; majestic mountains bathed in the dramatic light of sunset, humble homes nestled in a tranquil natural setting. They're all here in Lingering Dusk, but, because the homes are teepees and the subject is American Indian, you may think this early painting exotic, something quite different from Thom's later work. In Lingering Dusk the academically trained young painter was captivated by the dramatic vertical thrust of mountain, pine tree, and teepee; the dwellings reflected their environment, nothing more. The more mature Kinkade continues to explore a more complex and satisfying relationship between man and nature, whether painting a rustic cottage near a sylvan pond or a majestic lighthouse above the crashing surf.
