Creekside Trail To stand in a redwood grove and look up into the towering treetops is to know the power and the glory of God's creation. In Creekside Trail, these ancient trees guard the tranquility of a hidden bower, where stream and trail and a grove of flaming bushes come together in perfect harmony. "I've always loved to venture out and explore the world," the painter confides, "because I've long known that the explorer can be rewarded with the discovery of hidden treasures beyond price. My explorations were modest a decade ago, but, as I think Creekside Trail amply demonstrates, the rewards even then were rare and fine." Dusk was a favorite time of day for the young Thomas Kinkade, as it is for the more mature artist. The setting sun can be a masterful painter, touching leaf and water with a radiance that awakens unsuspected colors. |
