Thomas Kinkade is America's most collected artist; his distinctive style is immediately recognizable to legions of admirers. The development of America's beloved Painter of Light is clearly a story of considerable importance for lovers of fine art; we at the Thomas Kinkade Archive are both pleased and honored to make our contribution to its telling. This Archive Collection illustrates the early stages in Thomas Kinkade's development as an artist. Each painting in this exhibit stands on its own as an object of beauty and each tells its own story. It is in the creation of works like these that the Painter of Light was born. These paintings show the development of themes and techniques that continue today: simplicity and peace, the use of light to create mood, and an appreciation for the beauty that surrounds us. Join me, please, as we explore the history -- the Archive -- of the Painter of Light. Billie DiMonaco, Curator Wheeler Galleries is proud to offer the Thomas Kinkade Archive Collection. All images are available unless a release date is shown at right.
